Waldemar Zapata has extensive experience in security and facility management, currently serving as the Assistant Facilities Security Manager at MHI Ship Repair & Services since December 2018, where responsibilities include compliance with the National Industrial Security Program. Prior to this role, Waldemar worked as a Security Officer at Top Guard Security Inc. from November 2014 to December 2018, overseeing security operations and training for DOD assets. Waldemar's career in security began with the US Navy, serving as Chief Master at Arms from September 1990 to September 2014. Additional experience includes roles as a Security Guard at Sheraton Suites Key West and Hilton Hotel Key West. Waldemar holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Business from Tidewater Community College and is currently pursuing an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice at Coastline College.
