Jonathan Main is a seasoned professional in VAT and Indirect Taxes, currently serving as a Partner at MHA since April 2024, leading the practice across the North of England. Prior to this role, Jonathan held a similar position at MHA Moore and Smalley from July 2018 to March 2024 and was a Partner at Mtaxco LLP, specializing in VAT advisory, from May 2017 to May 2023. Jonathan's extensive experience also includes a 14-year tenure at PwC, where leadership of the North West team in VAT and Indirect Taxes was a key responsibility, and a partnership role at Arthur Andersen prior to its merger with Deloitte. Jonathan began the career in accountancy as an Indirect Tax Consultant at Price Waterhouse and has foundational experience from HM Customs & Excise. Education was completed at Merchant Taylors' Schools in Crosby.
