Jay Herold is an experienced legal professional with a focus on financial services and investment management. Currently serving as Vice President and Managing Counsel at MFS Investment Management since September 2013, Jay Herold provides legal advice on global distribution of retail and institutional investment products, with a responsibility for global ESG coverage. Prior to this role, Jay Herold was Senior Legal Counsel at Fidelity Investments, where support was provided for various operations within one of the largest mutual fund supermarkets. Previous positions include Director and Senior Legal Adviser, Senior Contracts Analyst, Contracts Analyst at different companies, as well as a Compliance Specialist at Putnam Investments. Jay Herold holds a Bachelor of Science from Emerson College and a Doctor of Law (JD) from St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law.
