Erik Zydervelt has held a variety of roles in the environmental and sustainability sector since 2011. Erik began their career as an Undergraduate Student at the University of Otago in 2011. In 2012, they joined Victoria University of Wellington as a Research Assistant and an Undergraduate Student majoring in Environmental Studies and Geography. Erik then joined the Queen Elizabeth II National Trust in 2014 as an Advisor - Land Protection and a Geospatial and Business Analyst. In 2015, they became a Global Strategist at The Bamboo Project and Co-Founder and COO of 1B Global. In 2020, they were appointed as an Edmond Hillary Global Impact Fellow at the Edmund Hillary Fellowship (EHF). In 2021, they joined Level Up as a Level Up Member. Most recently, in 2016, Erik became the Co-Founding Director & CEO of Mevo, New Zealand's first electric vehicle and the world's first climate positive car share.
