Prashant Amin has a diverse work experience in the field of network services and engineering. Prashant started their career at AT&T in 2000, where they provided tier 2 support for dedicated WAN internet connections. Prashant then joined Vonage in 2005 as a Tier 2 Technical Support, assisting customers with installation and troubleshooting of VoIP services. Prashant briefly worked at the U.S. Army Department of Defense as a NOC Systems Administrator in 2006. Prashant then moved to AT&T again as a Technical Project Engineer from 2007 to 2009, managing the implementation of dedicated WAN internet connections and designing MPLS-based VPNs. In 2010, they worked as a Technical Solutions Consultant at BT Global Banking & Financial Markets, handling projects involving IP connection migration. Prashant currently holds the position of Director - Network Services - Implementation Engineering at MetTel since 2018, where they oversee the implementation of network services.
Prashant Amin holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Financial Management and Management Information Systems from Pace University. Prashant also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Rider University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), and Juniper Networks Certified Network Associate - JUNOS (JNCIA-JUNOS).
