Tara Nelson has extensive experience in talent acquisition and sourcing recruiting roles. Tara is currently working at MetroStar as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, where they are responsible for full life cycle recruiting for various technical roles. Tara is skilled in sourcing, screening, offer negotiation, and hire processes. Prior to this, they worked at Stillwater Human Capital LLC as a Sourcing Recruiter, where they supported large government contractors in filling positions for highly technical roles. Tara also has experience in filling IT positions. Tara also briefly worked as an Intel Recruiter at PAE through Stillwater Human Capital in 2021. Tara consistently produces quality work and is capable of handling the entire recruitment process.

Tara Nelson, PRC, CIR pursued their education at Washington State University from 1990 to 1994. During this time, they earned a Bachelor's Degree with a minor in French Language, focusing on the field of English. Apart from their formal education, Tara has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2022, they completed Excel Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365) from LinkedIn. In the same year, they also completed Recruiting Foundations, a course offered by LinkedIn. Tara has achieved the Certified Internet Recruiter certification from AIRS powered by ADP in 2021, as well as the Professional Recruiter Certification from the same institution in the same year. In 2021, they also completed The Six Morning Habits of High Performers course from LinkedIn.
