Ryan Abbott began their work experience in 2002 as a Military Police in the United States Army. Ryan served in the 101st Airborne Division and 25th Inf Division, participating in operations such as OIF I & VI and OEF III & V. In 2008, they became an Account Manager for Apex Systems. From 2009 to 2017, Ryan worked as a Program Manager at Sotera Defense Solutions, Inc., where they provided counterterrorism, cyber operations, intelligence, data analytics, and C4ISR solutions to the Intelligence Community. In 2017, they joined Cornerstone Defense as a Sr. Vice President Operations, specializing in Cloud Architecture, Systems and Network Engineering, Systems and Network Security, and Application Development. As of 2021, they are currently serving as the Vice President Defense & Intel Operations at MetroStar.

Ryan Abbott attended the University of Phoenix from 2010 to 2012, where they pursued a degree in Business Management with a focus on Business Administration and Management.
