Suhail S. Patel, M.Eng., P.E., currently serves as a Senior Civil Engineer in the Local Sewer Systems Section of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago since October 2017, having progressed through roles as Associate Civil Engineer and Assistant Civil Engineer within the same department. Prior experience includes various engineering positions with the City of Chicago, where Suhail held roles such as Civil Engineer IV in the Department of Transportation and Civil Engineer II in the Department of Water Management. Early career experience involves a Staff Engineer position at GSG Consultants, an Engineering Intern role with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, and internships focused on engineering processes in both transportation and water utility sectors. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Professional Master's in Construction Engineering & Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology, complemented by an Associate degree in Engineering Science from Wilbur Wright College.
