Michelle Bernier is an accomplished dance educator and director with extensive experience in both academic and performance settings. Currently serving as Faculty and Director of Artistic Operations at the Colorado Conservatory of Dance, Michelle also holds positions as Adjunct Faculty at Pikes Peak State College and Affiliate Faculty at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Since 2014, Michelle has been the Executive Director and Artistic Co-Director of the Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema. Previously, Michelle directed the tour ensemble for Airborne Dance and co-directed a student company at DAM Studios. Michelle's teaching expertise spans various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, and contemporary, supplemented by workshops in improvisation and film. Michelle earned a Master's of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Southern Maine.
