Kate C.S. Schmidt is an accomplished academic currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver since July 2019. Prior to this role, Kate held positions as a Graduate Researcher at Washington University in St. Louis from August 2013 to May 2019, and as an Adjunct Instructor at University College at Washington University in St. Louis from July 2016 to August 2017. Earlier experience includes serving as a Math Fellow and Algebra Tutor at Blueprint Schools Network from August 2012 to June 2013, and as a Resident Assistant at Colorado State University from August 2009 to December 2010. Kate's educational background includes a PhD in Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Philosophy from Colorado State University. Kate also studied at the American College of Thessaloniki in 2011.
