Andrew Huffman is a professional artist with extensive experience in both creation and education. Currently serving as an artist at David Richard Contemporary since March 2018 and as an adjunct professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver since August 2017, Huffman also has a notable history of self-employment as an artist since May 2012. In 2019, Huffman participated in Facebook's Artist-in-Residence Program, aimed at fostering community through innovative art projects. Previous roles include artist-in-residence at RedLine Contemporary Art Center and adjunct professor at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. Additionally, Huffman has experience teaching drawing at the University of Kansas and freelancing in album art for Stones Throw Records. Huffman holds an MFA with Honors in Painting and Drawing from the University of Kansas and a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Columbus College of Art & Design.
