Thilanka Warnakulasooriya currently serves as the General Manager at Metropolitan Group of Companies, leading the finance, logistics, and after-sales operations of Metropolitan Technologies Pvt Ltd since October 2010. Prior roles include Deputy General Manager of Finance, Assistant General Manager of Finance, and Finance Manager, where Thilanka provided leadership and strategic direction for financial planning, reporting, and compliance across multiple subsidiaries. Thilanka's experience encompasses implementing ERP systems, analyzing customer purchasing patterns, and managing treasury functions. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance and a Master of Science in Information Management from the University of Colombo and SLIIT, respectively, alongside being a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. Thilanka also holds experience as a Visiting Lecturer at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and as a Financial Accountant at MAS Holdings.
