Mark T. has extensive experience in airline operations and public affairs, currently serving as the Assistant Manager of Terminal Operations and Common Use Planning at the Metropolitan Airports Commission since January 2014. Mark is adept at utilizing knowledge of MSP Airport operations to address inquiries and monitor social media channels for passenger engagement. Previous roles include serving as a Smartphone Support and Catering Auditor at DGS, where Mark facilitated significant cost savings in onboard retail operations, and providing internal communications support at Northwest Airlines/Delta Air Lines. With a military background as a Captain in the United States Air Force, Mark held leadership roles in public affairs, leading to the recognition of the office as the Air Force Outstanding Large Wing Public Affairs office of the year in 2006. Mark holds a Master of Arts in Homeland Security / Terrorism Studies from American Public University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the United States Air Force Academy.
