Cindy H. is an experienced freelance writer and art professional with a diverse background in the art and design sectors. Currently contributing to Metropolis Magazine as a freelance writer since April 2022, Cindy previously served as a Gallery Associate at Emma Scully Gallery, where responsibilities included curating ceramic and glass works and conducting archival research. Experience as a Gallery Assistant at Hostler Burrows involved producing written content and managing the gallery database. As a Research Assistant at Thames & Hudson, Cindy focused on contemporary designers, while earlier roles included researching for Defunctland's YouTube documentary series and curatorial work at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Educated at The New School with a Master of Arts in History of Design & Curatorial Studies and holding a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Florida International University, Cindy possesses strong research, writing, and editing skills.
