Anthony Brower, FAIA, LEED Fellow, currently serves as Associate Principal and Americas Head of Sustainability at Populous since July 2024 and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California since August 2022, teaching sustainable design courses. Anthony has been a Contributing Writer for Metropolis Magazine since July 2020 and previously held a notable role at Gensler as Global Director of Climate Action + Sustainability Practice Area from January 2005 to July 2024. Anthony has extensive project management experience directing large-scale buildings and renovations, focusing on innovative design solutions. Additional contributions include writing for Green Building and Design and Building Design & Construction Magazine, serving on the board of USGBC-Los Angeles, and holding architectural positions in various firms since 1995. Anthony earned both a Masterā€™s and Bachelorā€™s Degree in Architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
