Shannon Byrne Susko has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Shannon is the Founder & CEO of Metronomics, a CEO+Leadership team organization focused on achieving predictable results. Shannon also co-founded and served as the CEO of Metronome Growth Systems Inc., a cloud-based business platform that helps coaches create maximum impact.
In addition, Shannon has held various roles at BCAA, including Chairperson of the Board, Governance Chair, Member of the Audit Committee, and Risk Chair. Shannon is also a bestselling author of four business strategy books and has been a finalist for the International Book Awards. Shannon has served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at St. Mary's University and was the President of DST Subserveo in Canada.
Prior to these roles, Shannon co-founded and served as the President of Subserveo Inc., a leader in financial services. Shannon also held executive roles at Paradata Systems Inc., where they led the Product and Technology division after the company was acquired. As the co-founder, President, and CEO of Paradata Systems, Shannon gained valuable experience in scaling a venture-funded business and created the blueprint for Metronomics.
Shannon Byrne Susko holds a Corporate Director Certificate from Harvard Business School, which they obtained from 2020 to 2023. Shannon also has a Certified ICD.D from Simon Fraser University in 2012. Shannon earned an MCSc. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Nova Scotia from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed a BSc. in Computer Science and Bus Admin from Saint Mary's University in 1990 to 1992. Shannon also holds a BComm degree in Accounting and MIS from Saint Mary's University, which they completed from 1985 to 1989. Additionally, Shannon has a certification from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, obtained in 2011.
