Mike Atamian is currently a student at the Institute of What's Next in Life, with prior extensive experience at Metron, Inc. from October 1997 to July 2024, where Mike held various leadership roles, including Senior Program Manager for Unmanned Underwater Vehicle and C4ISR Innovation, Director of Operations Research and Cyber Analysis Division, Vice President of Operations Analysis and Simulation Sciences, Assistant Division Director, and Senior Manager of Operations Analysis Staff. Additionally, Mike served as the Working Group Chair for the Military Operations Research Society (MORS) from July 2010 to June 2012, focusing on Information and Cyber Operations. Their earlier experience includes working as an Analyst and Field Representative at the Center for Naval Analyses from December 1990 to October 1997. Mike's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University, an MFS in Forensic Sciences from National University, a Postdoc in Spectroscopy of Photosynthetic Pigments from Michigan State University, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
