George Mackenzie is an experienced Operations Technical Specialist currently employed at Metrol since January 2019, where George focuses on the latest technology in DST, completion, and subsea telemetry tools, contributing to project planning and equipment sourcing. Prior to this role, George worked at Schlumberger for over a decade, holding various positions including Gunshop Supervisor, where responsibilities included managing a team, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, and maintaining service quality standards. As a DST/TCP Design Engineer, George was involved in offshore support and complex calculations, and as a DST/TCP Field Specialist, George played a key role in well testing operations across Europe. George holds a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Lewis Castle College Stornoway, completed in 2008.
