Joel Benson is a seasoned Senior Information Technology Project Manager with extensive experience in managing complex projects across various sectors. Currently, Joel serves at Metro Systems, Inc., leading data warehousing and analytics initiatives for the Navy Federal Financial Group since November 2016. Previously, from September 2014 to June 2016, Joel worked as a Technical Manager at CGI Federal, where responsibilities included technical architecture design and overseeing project operations for the Department of State. Joel's project management expertise also includes serving as a Senior Project Manager and Scrum Master at CGI Federal, managing significant projects for Fannie Mae, and holding a similar role at Windwalker Corporation. Joel began a project management career at Multimedia Professionals, Inc., leading multiple technical projects over a span of 13 years. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, earned from 1984 to 1990.
