Adaora Otiji, Ed.D., CPTD, ADC has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of learning, development, and human resources. Adaora is currently serving as the Chief Learning Officer for the DC Department of Health and as the President of the Metro DC Chapter of ATD. Previously, they held leadership positions such as Division Chief of People Operations in Prince George's County, where they strategically supported over 6,500 County Government public servants. Adaora also served as the Lead Talent Development Specialist for the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education, where they implemented a unified training and talent development program for over 1,900 employees. Additionally, Adaora has experience in program management and curriculum development, having worked as the Education Program Manager for NAB Leadership Foundation and as a Senior Manager of Leadership and Organizational Development for Results Leadership Group. Adaora has a strong background in managing operations, budgets, and human resources from their roles as Operations Manager at Shining Stars Montessori Academy, PCS and Program Associate at New Leaders Org. Adaora's passion for professional development and leadership is evident through their participation in Leadership Greater Washington's Rising Leaders Program.
