Jemma Needham is a skilled physicist currently serving as the Signal Processing Team Leader at Metrasens since May 2020, where leadership involves developing algorithms for advanced ferromagnetic detection. Prior to this role, Jemma completed a PhD at the University of Nottingham from October 2016 to May 2020, focusing on the dynamics of dissipative many body atomic systems within the Condensed Matter Theory group. Jemma also has extensive experience as a gymnastics coach at Mickleover Gymnastics Club from November 2009 to May 2020, managing and organizing events for diverse age groups. Additionally, a summer research internship was completed at the University of Nottingham in 2015, focused on software development for automated forensic imaging. Jemma holds a Master of Science degree in Physics from the University of Nottingham, earned in 2016.
