Shaun Wildman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. ~Shaun began their career in the British Army as a Communication system operator from April 2012 to October 2016. After leaving the military, they worked as an Application Support Analyst at FDM Group from September 2016 to March 2017, where they gained experience in programming, administration, and technical problem-solving. Shaun then joined thebigword as an Application Support Analyst for a short period from March 2017 to October 2017.

In 2017, they transitioned to a role as an Application Specialist Ingest and Metadata Systems at The British Library from October 2017 to June 2018. Following this, Shaun worked as a DevOps Application Support Developer at Link Asset Services from June 2018 to April 2019, where they focused on building automation and driving analysis to improve operations and meet business requirements.

Subsequently, Shaun joined Jet2.com and Jet2holidays as a DevOps Engineer in April 2019. In this role, they were responsible for automation pipelines, release deployment strategy, and ensuring smooth transitions of code base using tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Terraform. Their tenure with Jet2.com ended in September 2020.

From September 2020 to September 2022, Shaun worked at Infinity Works as a Senior Consultant. ~Shaun gained expertise in big data, Python, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS/Azure team leadership. ~Shaun played a crucial role as the API Technical Lead for the Asda Loyalty APP project, utilizing Azure Functions and TypeScript. Additionally, they contributed to projects involving NHS Digital, working on solutions using various technologies such as AWS API Gateway, Lambda, Apigee, Terraform, and Databricks.

Shaun then joined Jugo as a Senior DevOps Engineer from September 2022 to December 2022, where they brought their expertise to enhance development and operations processes. Currently, they are working as a DevOps Engineer at Metomic, starting in January 2023.

Shaun Wildman attended the University of Leeds from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics and astrophysics. In addition to their formal education, they have also acquired several certifications, including being an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from AWS, obtained in February 2022. Furthermore, they hold the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification from HashiCorp, obtained in May 2020.
