Kate Drury has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 1998, they worked at AIA Ltd as an Account Executive, Project Manager, and Interactive Producer until 2002. From 2002 to 2003, Kate worked as an Account Manager at PDF Communications Ltd. Kate then joined Maurice Kain Textiles Ltd as a Marketing Coordinator from 2003 to 2004. In 2004, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Codi Design & Resourcing. Kate then moved to BP Oil New Zealand, where they served as a Marketing Communications Manager for the Retail division from 2005 to 2008, successfully growing the Wild Bean Cafe brand. From 2008 to 2011, they worked at BP Australia as a Marketing Communications Manager for Fuels, managing both B2B and B2C communications, including crisis comms during QLD flooding events. Following this, Kate ran their own marketing communications consultancy business at Elevate Communications NZ from 2013 to 2019, working with a wide range of clients. Most recently, they have been with Metlifecare, starting as a Brand Manager from 2019 to 2021, then becoming a Transformation Lead for Sales & Marketing from 2021 to 2022, and currently serving as the Head of Marketing since May 2022.
Kate Drury completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Advertising & Marketing from Lancaster University, where they studied from 1995 to 1998.
