Dan Wright is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at MetLife since March 2022, Dan specializes in Group Accident & Health, Dental, and Legal Plans. Previously, Dan held the position of Assistant Vice President and Counsel at Farmers Insurance for a brief period in 2021 following the acquisition of MetLife Auto & Home. Prior to that, Dan was with MetLife from 2008 to 2021, initially as Assistant General Counsel and subsequently as Assistant Corporate Secretary, where Dan provided legal support for property and casualty product and distribution matters. Earlier in Dan's career, Dan was a Senior Associate in the Insurance and Reinsurance Department at EAPD Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP. Dan holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Harvard University.
