Øyvind Sundgot has a diverse work experience in various marketing and board roles in the maritime industry. Øyvind currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Metizoft AS. Øyvind has also held positions as a Member of the Board at Norwegian Maritime Exporters NME and Metizoft AS. In the past, they worked as the Marketing Director at Brude Safety AS and as a Sales Manager at Mare Safety AS. Øyvind started their career as the Head of Marketing Communication at ODIMAT.

Øyvind Sundgot completed their education in various institutions and fields of study. In 1992, they enrolled at Volda University College (HVO) and graduated in 1996 with a degree of Cand Mag, specializing in Information. In 2010, Øyvind attended Nordvestforum, where they pursued a Leadership (LIF) program in Organizational Leadership for a year. Øyvind'smost recent educational endeavor took place in 2020 at Ikuben, where they obtained a degree in Leadership in change, focusing on Bedriftsadministrasjon og -ledelse.
