Bhuvaneswaran Palrasu began their professional career in 2014 as a Student Trainee at Super Auto Forge. In 2015, they worked as a Student Trainee at both Lucas TVS and Hindustan Automation Solutions - India. BHUVANESWARAN also completed an Internship Trainee role at Ashok Leyland in 2017. In the same year, they joined KRIYA Group of Companies (KRIYA DESIGN TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD & KRIYA MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD) as a Junior Product Design Engineer. During this role, they designed and developed COVID19 Sample collection kits and optimised the packaging and increased the FG throughput from a stable 20000 kits/day to 40000 kits/day. BHUVANESWARAN also worked with vendors to develop, test and validate KRIZAC's Hardware and Software for Pilot Project. In 2018, they were promoted to Graduate Product Development Engineer, where they worked on the new product development of KRIZAC. BHUVANESWARAN was then promoted to Product Development Engineer in 2020, where they worked with the manufacturing team to optimise the production process, collaborated with the logistics team and tailored the existing packaging design to reduce logistic costs. BHUVANESWARAN also sourced vendors locally in India and China and negotiated the price of TTO printers, reducing the cost by 43% and securing a 10% discount for printer supplies. In 2022, they joined Metix (UK) as a Graduate Product Engineer.
Bhuvaneswaran Palrasu's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University (2013-2017), a Higher Secondary School in Engineering graphics from D.A.V Senior Secondary School (2006-2012), and an MSc in Design Engineering with Product Development from the University of Strathclyde (2020-2021).
