Sergey Detyuk has extensive work experience in IT management and leadership roles. Sergey is currently serving as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Metinvest Digital since May 2023. Previously, they worked as the CEO at Metinvest Digital from September 2018 to May 2023. Before that, they were the Group CIO at Metinvest from March 2016. Sergey also served as the Group CIO at DTEK from December 2007 to February 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of CIO at JSC “Dneprospetsstal” from September 2006 to November 2007. Sergey's IT management journey began as an IT manager and SAP project manager at ISTIL from June 2004 to September 2006. Sergey started their career as an IT & IS expert at Ukrpodshipnik from September 2000 to June 2004, where they completed IT audits and coordinated IT activities.

Sergey Detyuk's education history is as follows:

Sergey obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Donetsk National Technical University, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. Sergey then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General at the same university from 2000 to 2002.

In 2010 and 2011, Sergey attended the London Business School, where they completed a corporate program called "Energy of Leader." Additionally, during the same period, they studied a corporate program called "Energy of Knowledge" and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Nacional'nij Universitet 'Kievo-Mogiljans'ka Akademija'.

Sergey has also obtained additional certifications. In December 2020, they completed the "Business Strategy and Financial Performance" program at INSEAD, and in October 2019, they completed the "Leading Successful Change Programme" at the same institution.
