Joey Edwards has a diverse work experience that spans over two companies. Starting in 1999 at USAA, Joey worked as a Senior Systems Engineer, managing teams and leading projects related to server and network technologies. In 2012, Joey joined Methodist Health System as a Senior Systems Administrator, where they focused on enhancing processes and analyzing major service interruptions. Joey later became the IT Manager for Infrastructure, overseeing various technical teams and managing the IT operations budget. Currently, Joey holds the position of Director of IT Infrastructure and Epic Architecture at Methodist Health System, where they are responsible for developing and implementing architectural strategies, managing a multi-million-dollar budget, and conducting vendor negotiations.
Joey Edwards holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Management Information Systems and Services from Webster University. In addition, Joey has obtained a certification in ITIL v3 from AXELOS in 2016.
