Bilyana Nikolova began their career in 2009 as an Expert Financial Control for EU Funds at the Road Infrastructure Agency. In 2011, they moved to IBM where they held the roles of Customer Administration Associate in the F&A department and Key User for SAP implementation. In 2013, they joined Methodia as a Product Development Manager where they were responsible for incorporating the company vision in the product development strategy and setting board meetings for the Product Steering Board. Bilyana also evaluated potential ideas with a metric of different criteria, assessed opportunities' potential, monitored product development adhesion to set goals, and collaborated with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Marketing Specialists, and System Architects. Additionally, they held the roles of Product Manager and Project Manager. Lastly, as a Business Analyst, they were responsible for understanding clients' business needs, describing business use cases, and defining system requirements.

Bilyana Nikolova began their educational journey in 1999 when they graduated from Language High school Ivan Vazov Plovdiv with a High School Diploma in French, Russian, and English language and literature. Bilyana then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Sofia University St.Kliment Ohridski and Montesquieu - Bordeaux IV in Business Administration with French, which they completed in 2008. In the same year, they also received a Master's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Montesquieu - Bordeaux IV. In 2013, they participated in the Microeconomics of Competitiveness program at the Harvard Affiliated Center for Economic Strategy and Competitiveness. Most recently, in 2021, they completed a course in Product Management at Stanford University.
