Mikey Collard has extensive experience in the field of PR and communications. Mikey began their career as a Promotions Intern at KPNZ Television in 2005 and went on to work as a Radio Show Intern at Simmons Media Group and a Production Assistant at KJZZ. Mikey then transitioned to a managerial role as a Store Manager at Abercrombie & Fitch. In 2010, they gained experience in music and sports PR as an intern at Rogers & Cowan. Mikey continued to build their skills as a Social Media/PR Intern at inContact from 2010 to 2011, where they were responsible for maintaining social media channels and assisting with PR tasks. Mikey also interned as a PR Intern at Edelman in 2011. Mikey then served as Co-President at TriSight Communications for a year. Mikey joined Rogers & Cowan again in 2011 as an Account Executive in the Music Entertainment department, providing strategic PR solutions for music-based clients. Finally, they joined Method Communications in 2013 as a Senior Vice President, where they offer strategic PR solutions for tech-based clients and manages PR for various events. Mikey'snotable achievements include working on PR for events such as the 2023 NBA All-Star Week and the opening of Utah's first Shake Shack. Method Communications was recognized as PRovoke's North America Technology Agency of the Year in 2016 and 2021.
Mikey Collard's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Ithaca College. Mikey pursued a field of study in Journalism but did not complete a degree. In 2002, they transferred to the University of Utah, where they graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. Later on, from 2010 to 2012, Mikey attended the University of Southern California, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Public Relations.
