Daniel Cruz has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Daniel started their career at Marriott International as a Sales Account Manager, where they were responsible for proactive sales, conducting presentations, and maintaining account reports. After that, they joined AKA as a Corporate Sales Director and later became the General Manager. In this role, they managed hotel operations, implemented marketing strategies, and represented the company at national conventions. In 2013, Daniel became the President of both ROOST Apartment Hotel and Method Co., where they held various executive roles such as General Manager, Vice President of Operations, and Executive Vice President of Operations. Their responsibilities included overseeing operations, developing business plans, implementing marketing strategies, and managing budgets.

Daniel Cruz attended James Madison University from 2001 to 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Business and Marketing.
