Graham Bootman is a seasoned professional in mechanical and plant layout design, currently serving as a Design Checker/Coordinator at METC since April 2022. Bootman's career includes roles such as Senior Mechanical/Layout Designer for various companies, including a brief tenure at Wood Plc in 2021 and extensive freelance work from home during the Covid-19 crisis. Previous experience includes positions as Senior Technical Advisor at SGS-Time Mining, Senior Layout Designer at AMEC-Wood Plc, and Senior Design Engineer roles across multiple organizations. Bootman holds a City and Guilds degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kilburn Polytechnic and has demonstrated expertise in design engineering, technical advising, and spreadsheet development for engineering applications.
