Natis Shafiq, PhD, currently serves as the Process Engineering Manager and previously held the position of Photolithography Process Development Engineer at Metamaterial Inc. since November 2018. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate at The University of Texas at Dallas from October 2017 to October 2018, and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering earned at the same institution from 2011 to 2017, where extensive research was conducted on graphene and its composites. Natis Shafiq's academic background also includes a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Early career experience encompasses roles as an HVAC Engineer at Aziz & Company Ltd. and an internship at Zia Fertilizer Factory Limited.
