Smit Davey is a Senior Software Engineer currently at Petal since March 2022, with previous experience at Capital One where Smit held the position of Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer from September 2017 to March 2022. Prior to that, Smit was a Software Engineer Intern at Amazon during the summer of 2016 and served as a Cyber Intern at Booz Allen Hamilton in June to August 2015, developing innovative mapping solutions utilizing UAV technology. Smit also worked as a Resident Assistant at the University of Maryland from May 2015 to May 2016, coordinating various educational and recreational programs. Smit holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, earned in 2017.
