Nofel Yaseen is a Senior Research Scientist at Meta, specializing in Privacy Preserving Machine Learning (PPML) for Ads Infrastructure since September 2022. Prior to this role, Nofel served as a Research Scientist within the Ads Machine Learning Infrastructure Organization and contributed to Hermetic Infrastructure. Nofel's academic background includes a Research Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on the development of a network measurement tool called Speedlight and network protocol testing. Additionally, Nofel gained experience as a Research Intern and External Researcher at Microsoft, where projects included flow monitoring tools and runtime verifiers for Azure's distributed network functions. Earlier experiences include a Teaching Assistant position and various research internships at Lahore University of Management Sciences. Nofel holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
