Nino Sitchinava is a seasoned data science leader with extensive experience in developing and managing large teams across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Senior Director of Data Science at Meta, Nino oversees diverse foundational social media domains at Instagram, emphasizing growth, trust and safety, and performance. Prior to this, Nino held the position of Director of Data Science at Instagram, focusing on user safety and well-being through innovative AI solutions. Nino's earlier roles include Senior Director and Director of Economics, Survey and Data Science at Houzz, where significant contributions were made in data product development and industry research. Nino also served as a Manager and Associate at Analysis Group, spearheading data strategies and predictive modeling in consulting projects. Nino holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oregon.
