Maheen Sohail is a seasoned design professional specializing in generative AI and emerging technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Designer at Meta, Maheen has contributed to the design of Meta AI and numerous AI experiences across major platforms like Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Previously, in the role of Senior Design Manager at Reality Labs, Maheen managed design teams focused on innovative experiences in artificial intelligence, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality. Maheen’s experience extends to roles at Facebook, Oculus VR, and Electronic Arts, where leadership in product design and user experience was demonstrated. Additionally, Maheen is a Design Instructor at Maven, dedicated to empowering designers transitioning into AI product development. As co-founder and Vice President of LET'S International Charitable Association, Maheen promoted education in developing regions. Maheen holds a Bachelor's degree in Interactive Arts and Technology and Business from Simon Fraser University.
