Kexin Chen is currently a Research Scientist at Meta, having joined the company in November 2023. Prior to this role, Kexin served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Nextdoor from July 2023 to November 2023 and held a Graduate Student Researcher position at UC Irvine between September 2018 and June 2023. Kexin also gained experience as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at Instagram and Facebook during the summers of 2022 and 2021, respectively. Earlier in the career, Kexin worked as a Software Engineer at DeepRadiology from September 2017 to August 2018. Kexin holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from UC Irvine, earned in 2023, and a B.S. in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Computation from UC San Diego, completed in 2017.
