Erik Hawkins serves as a Vice President at Meta, holding multiple leadership roles focused on global partnerships, government and social impact, as well as global product marketing for advertising and business products. With a strong track record in building marketing and sales teams, Erik has significantly contributed to the growth of various advertising solutions across Meta's suite of apps. In addition, Erik is an investor at Apollo 11 Ventures, supporting innovative problem solvers. Previously, Erik founded and led Grind Media, Inc. and PureVideo Networks, Inc., establishing successful media properties and digital platforms in adventure sports and video publishing. Erik's earlier experience includes significant roles at Citysearch.com, Yahoo, and LAUNCH, as well as military service in the US Army as a Russian interpreter. Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and History and is an advanced linguist in Russian.
