Marco Franchin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advisory roles, particularly in the fields of research, technology, and EU affairs. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at META Group since July 2019, Marco has a strong background in mentoring researchers and entrepreneurs, supporting the commercialization of research results, and developing innovation strategies. Previously, Marco was an EU Affairs and Project Manager at Paragon Europe and held positions in import management and marketing consultancy. Marco's leadership experience also includes directing MaTech at Science Park Galileo, focusing on product innovation through materials and technology transfer. An MBA graduate from the University of Bath, Marco also holds multiple degrees in International Political Science and EU studies, supplemented by a diploma in Music Theory.
