John Apitz serves as the Executive Director of the Minnesota Regional Railroads Association since January 2020, overseeing the trade association for railroads operating in Minnesota. In addition to this role, John Apitz has been a Board Member at History Theatre since 1993 and a Shareholder at Messerli & Kramer, P.A. since October 1989, where assistance is provided in government relations with a focus on Minnesota state legislative matters. Prior to these positions, John Apitz worked in the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Minnesota from March 1986 to December 1988. Educational qualifications include a degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law obtained between 1984 and 1988.
