Joe Broking currently serves as the President and CEO of Mesabi Metallics, a position held since June 2024. Prior to this role, Joe was the President and CEO of Tacora Resources Inc. from July 2017 to June 2024, and Joe previously held the positions of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Joe's earlier experience includes significant financial leadership roles at Magnetation, Inc. and Magnetation LLC, where responsibilities included asset growth management. Joe also served as Chief Executive Officer of Itasca Economic Development Corporation, successfully raising project capital and facilitating business development in Minnesota. In addition to leadership roles at Bucyrus/Terex/ASV Inc., Joe held positions at Stora Enso, Midwest Plastic Components, and UPM - The Biofore Company. Joe earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting and Finance from Bemidji State University.
