Amy Hayes is a seasoned Senior Textile Designer with extensive experience in the textile industry, currently employed at Mervyns since June 2005. In this role, Amy oversees original boy’s artwork and a seasonal young men’s boardshort program while also supporting various other lines including juniors, women's, and men's through artwork creation. Key responsibilities include creating seasonal trend boards, managing a design team, hiring and training new employees, and ensuring quality control in production processes. Prior to Mervyns, Amy worked as a Junior Textile Designer at Karen Neuburger, leading print design for various collections and contributing to packaging design and technical preparations for production. Amy holds an MS in Textile Design from Philadelphia University, a certificate in Jacquard Weaving from Fondazione Arte Della Seta Lisio/Rubelli Mills, and a BA in Visual Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Recognized for creativity, organization, and collaboration, Amy has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing demands.
