Lizbeth Osornio has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple companies. In their most recent position at Meru, they served as the Head of Finance & Legal starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Grupo Financiero Banorte from 2013 to 2023, holding various roles such as Payment Solutions Financial Strategy Sr Manager, Credit Card Portfolio Analytics Senior Manager, Credit Card Portfolio Development Sr Manager, and Business Intelligence Specialist.

Before joining Grupo Financiero Banorte, Lizbeth worked at Grupo Financiero Interacciones from February 2013 to September 2013 as a Financial Analysis Senior Manager. Their responsibilities included managing financial statements and providing financial information for regulatory and public reporting purposes, including the IPO project.

From 2010 to 2013, Lizbeth held the position of MIS Manager at ING Bank Mexico, where they managed the financial statements for three legal entities, prepared various financial reports, and supervised a team.

Prior to that, they worked at HSBC Mexico as a Financial Models and Projections Project Leader from June 2008 to September 2010. Their role involved designing and implementing financial models, supervising financial planning processes, and migrating the financial planning process to the COGNOS Planning tool.

Earlier in their career, Lizbeth worked at C&A México Retail Financial Services as a Financial Planning and MIS Coordinator, Ernst & Young México as an Actuarial Auditor, and ITAM as a Database Assistant.

Throughout their career, Lizbeth has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and team management. Lizbeth has achieved significant accomplishments, such as automating audit processes and implementing efficient financial reporting systems.

Lizbeth Osornio has a diverse education history. In 2000, they enrolled at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and completed a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science in 2005. In 2007, they attended the Universidad de las Américas Puebla, where they pursued a Diplomado en Finanzas in Finance. The following year, they joined the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México again and obtained a Master's degree in Finance in 2009.

In the years that followed, Lizbeth Osornio pursued various diploma programs to enhance their skills in accounting, finance, and leadership. In 2011, they completed a Money Market Valuation and Accounting Diploma at FINDES, followed by a Back Office process and Derivatives Accounting Diploma at RiskMathics. In 2010, they attended the HSBC Business School for a Leadership skills program focused on Best people in my team and Effective Performance.

In 2013, Lizbeth Osornio took a Curso Básico de Oradores (Basic Oratory Course) at the Sociedad Mexicana de Oratoria, further developing their communication skills. Lastly, in 2023, they are planning to enroll at the Centro de Formación y Perfeccionamiento Directivo ICAMI for a course in Liderazgo y Empresa Digital (Leadership and Digital Business).
