Elizabeth Brault is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in criminology and criminal justice. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at Merrimack College since August 2020, Elizabeth previously held multiple positions at Louisiana State University from August 2014 to June 2023, including Graduate Researcher focusing on needs assessment, Dissertation Year Fellow, Instructor, and Graduate Research Assistant in criminology. Additionally, Elizabeth worked as a Program Evaluator for the Rise and Recover Reentry Court Program for the U.S. Probation Office in the Eastern District of Louisiana, contributing to the evaluation of program services and developing a Reentry Management System. Elizabeth holds a Ph.D. in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology from Louisiana State University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology-Criminology & Psychology from the University of Montana.
