Emily L Bloedel has a diverse work experience in the legal field, starting with being a Corporate Support Services Intern at Merrick & Company in 2011. Emily L then worked as a Legal Intern at Westwood College, where they researched higher education law and assisted with drafting contracts. Returning to Merrick & Company in 2014, Emily took on various roles. Emily L initially worked as a Contract and Legal Specialist, reviewing contracts, renewing trademarks, and assisting with collections. Emily L also chaired Merrick's Corporate Responsibility Committee. Emily later became the Manager, Contracts and Legal Affairs, responsible for contract review, insurance maintenance, trademark management, and drafting corporate policies. Emily L successfully completed the Merrick Business Program and Leadership Development Program during their tenure. Most recently, Emily has been the Manager of Risk Management and Corporate Counsel at Merrick & Company.
Throughout their career, Emily has demonstrated a strong legal background, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to handle diverse legal matters.
Emily L Bloedel completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Japanese Language and Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2009. Emily L then pursued a Juris Doctor degree at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, from 2009 to 2012. In 2014, Emily obtained their License to Practice Law from the Supreme Court of the State of Minnesota. Emily L also obtained additional licenses to practice law from the United States District Court for the District of Colorado in November 2012 and from the Supreme Court of the State of Colorado in October 2012. After gaining their legal qualifications, Emily went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business, completing their studies between 2016 and 2018.
