Mario Viola has had a diverse range of roles and experiences in their work history. Mario started their career as an Impiegato Programmatore at ORS Srl and ORS GROUP GmbH in 2002. Mario then moved on to work at Merlo Group, where they held various positions including Impiegato Tecnico, Team Leader, and Responsabile Area Ricerca & Sviluppo. In these roles, their responsibilities included coordinating and leading research and development teams, developing new applications and products, validating new products for production, and analyzing technical issues. Mario also worked on developing algorithms for hydraulic transmissions and control systems. Mario's most recent role at Merlo Group was Group Quality Director. Overall, Mario Viola has a strong background in research and development, technical project management, and quality control.

Mario Viola received their Laurea in Ingegneria Nucleare from Politecnico di Torino, from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their Maturità Scientifica at Liceo Scientifico, from 1990 to 1995.
