William Harding, M.A., RPA, has over 30 years of experience in cultural resource management and archaeology. Currently a Principal Investigator and Senior Analyst at Merjent since May 2018, William specializes in mentoring junior archaeologists and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while contributing to environmental assessments and impact statements. Prior roles include serving as Cultural Resource Lead/Principal Investigator at SWCA Environmental Consultants from November 2012 to February 2018, and Director of Cultural Resources at North Wind Resource Consulting LLC from 2000 to 2012, where William established and directed the cultural resource program. Previously, as a Supervisory Archaeologist at TRC Mariah Associates, Inc. from 1990 to 1999, William engaged in multiple aspects of cultural resource management. William holds a Master of Arts degree in Anthropology/Archaeology from Idaho State University.
