Kate Mize is a highly experienced environmental professional with a strong background in environmental analysis and consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Environmental Analyst at Merjent, Inc. since August 2006, Kate specializes in managing multi-discipline field survey efforts and overseeing Environmental Impact Statement preparation for natural gas pipeline projects. Prior to this role, Kate worked as an Environmental Consultant at Peterson Environmental Consulting, Inc. from May 2004 to July 2006, where GIS technology was implemented to tackle resource management issues. Earlier experience includes a position as a Junior Scientist at the University of Minnesota, focusing on nutrient uptake research in crop varieties. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Minnesota, earned between 2001 and 2004.
