Gabriel Harris-Rouquette is a Senior Software Engineer at Merit since January 2020 and has served as Project Lead at SpongePowered since November 2014, where responsibilities include developing a new plugin framework for modding the video game Minecraft and leading API design efforts. Prior to these roles, Gabriel worked as an Independent Filmmaker from July 2018 to January 2020, focusing on 3D modeling and animation for documentary films. Gabriel's earlier career included positions at Apple, encompassing roles as a Technical Expert, Technical Specialist, and Specialist from August 2016 to June 2018. Gabriel is an alumnus of Santa Monica College, having attended from 2009 to 2015.
